Course Abstract: This course introduces various methods and techniques with which to construct 3D form. The objective is to enable students to explore these different methods, and understand the properties of various palpable materials in order to be able to translate their ideas into sculptural forms. Student’s explore materials such as clay, wire, mesh, wood and plaster while engaging with themes such as metamorphosis, hybrid and movement in space.
